INDEPENDENCE

Independence – a Polish documentary film composed of colorized footage from 1914-1923, directed by Krzysztof Talczewski. The film shows the road to independence in 1918. In the coloring process, by making appropriate separation masks, it is possible to add any colors, and by properly balancing their brightness, hue and saturation based on reference materials, to create a color image on a layer of the original black and white footage.
